You will get complete details that are viable for each component. You can select to test all of the components simultaneously, or you can also try each one individually. Then, you’ll see how it performs and whether it needs to be optimized or not. NovaBench is a great tool that you can use to test your components using the tool’s benchmarks.

It’s an advanced and modern application that’s quite easy to use for everyone.NovaBench is a software program that you can use to benchmark your computer's inner workings, in order to test the hardware's capabilities. It is simple to use, even by less experienced individuals. The interface of the application is represented by a modern-looking window with an uncomplicated layout. Assess the performance of the CPU, the GPU, and the memory On the bottom part of the GUI, you can view details on your system involving the processor, the memory, and the graphics.įrom the same window, you have access to the CPU and GPU temperature, the scheduler and the CLI version. Running all the tests only requires you to press a button. Individual tests for various hardware components can be run via the dedicated menu. For the GPU tests to be performed, the application displays a high-demanding video. There are no options to configure and no settings to define, but note that for the benchmark to be performed correctly, you must exit all current applications and let Novabench finish its job. Novabench evaluates the capabilities of your CPU, your RAM, your graphics card, and your hard disk, displaying both individual scores for each component and a general score. Provided you have a Novabench account, the latter can be submitted online to compare it to that of other PCs with similar hardware configurations and view performance charts. A handy benchmarking utility for your computer NovaBench requires a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time and quickly finishes all its test. The results can be exported to file for later reference.

The benchmarking tool has not caused us any issues during our tests, such as making Windows hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. I have a Zotac GTX 1080Ti Amp Edition, Dell S2716DG, Acer H236HL Hmonitor. Thanks to its intuitive features, NovaBench can be handled even by beginners. So I'm not entirely sure why I'm getting such a low score for the GPU. Finally I put on some Overwatch and noticed that I'm getting +144 fps (154 fps), this is something I never got. On a side note, I am using a displayport for the 144hz and a hdmi cable for the 60hz (not sure if that makes any difference).

I even pulled out the 60Hz monitor from the pc and run a bench test just on the 144Hz monitor and it made no difference. I turn off V-sync on NVIDIA control panel and it didn't make a difference. I check the user bench mark software and notice that for my GPU tests, I'm getting 144 fps (before I was getting maybe like 300-500+). I looked online and supposedly I should turn off V-sync so I can get more FPS. I decided to run a bench test and for my GPU I get the message "Performing below potential (6th percentile) - Disable monitor sync before benchmarking (143 fps cap detected". Before I had 1 144Hz monitor and now I paired it up with a 60Hz monitor. Today I moved my PC from my dorm back to my parents house. So I try to keep track of my pc health by running a user benchmark test once in a while.
